The restaurant located at the old Taitung Sugar Factory site has a very unique position and concept. You can feel the effort put into presenting a refined quality in both the dishes and the environment, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't very good. The onion soup had a strong wine flavor, which may be a specialty, but I didn't quite like it. The seasoning and plating of the steak were good, but the method of frying thinly sliced meat with batter sacrificed the juiciness and texture. The garlic shrimp was tasty, and the accompanying bread was crispy and soft, but this dish is a bit messy as it tends to get your hands oily. Considering that the restroom is a bit of a walk outside the restaurant, it would be nice if this dish came with some wet wipes for hand cleaning. The staff was very polite, but there is a significant need for improved explanation and service.
