Environment
The trendy café in Changhua has become very popular recently. Its indoor décor is not overly flashy; instead, it features a minimalist raw concrete style. There are two floors for dining, and the seating arrangement has a lot of character, but the space can feel a bit cramped, with tables placed relatively close together. The café opens in the morning and serves from brunch to afternoon tea, so it’s essential to make a reservation, or you might only be able to get takeout!
Food
This time, I sampled their coffee and desserts. You can choose coffee beans with a medium roast that leans towards a citrus acidity, while the dark roast has a bready aroma.
Lemon Tart 💰 180: It's completely different from a regular lemon tart; it resembles a mille-feuille instead. The crust is firm and crispy, filled with a lemon filling that strikes a perfect balance of sweet and sour. The cream is very smooth and not greasy at all!
Caramel Macchiato 💰 160: I chose medium roasted coffee beans, and it tasted very smooth. Although the beans have a hint of acidity, the pairing with caramel is delightful!
Brownie Latte 💰 180: I went for the dark roasted coffee beans. It comes with a brownie, which is rich in flavor but not overly sweet. Enjoying it together with the latte made all the fatigue of the day disappear!
Parking
There is a paid parking lot right next door 🅿️, and plenty of paid parking spaces in the vicinity.
Service
The café doesn't offer extensive service, but the staff is very friendly!
