🍮 Retro and beautifully decorated, exquisite Neapolitan pasta and hard pudding! A supply station at the gateway of Tokyo ☕️
I've seen this shop several times at Tokyo Station, and its stunning exterior made me take a second glance. Later, many friends told me that the food here is really delicious, so I hurried to give it a try.
The interior follows a retro bar style, featuring almost all bar seating. During meal times, there's often a line to get in.
You place your order using a QR code; the ordering method is a bit special, so scroll down for photo instructions!
During lunch hours, you can't order just the meal or pudding; you must also order a drink. For dining in, you must order a drink or another meal along with the pudding!
The beer here is also famous, served from a special ice cold tap, and it tastes particularly good in this environment!
🍝 Signature "Tokyo Neapolitan Pasta" ¥1080
Using low-water pasta noodles from "Asakusa Kaikaro," the texture is not as soft as typical Neapolitan pasta; it's thicker and has a bit of chewiness. The acidity of the tomatoes is also notably prominent compared to other places, and the portion is quite large but doesn’t feel heavy even until the end. There's also Tabasco available on the table to add.
🍮 Nostalgic slightly bitter hard pudding ¥700
Another big signature dish here, although it's hard pudding, it has a delicate mouthfeel, with a rich egg flavor, and the slightly bitter caramel sauce is sweet but not overpowering. Due to its popularity, there's also a take-out option, which is a bit cheaper and smaller, with the caramel sauce served separately, allowing you to enjoy the same taste at home as in the shop.
The location is right in the middle of the "Marunouchi, Yaesu Connecting Passage" at Tokyo Station, next to JR's "Shinkasatsu Gransta Underground North Entrance." I highly recommend it to everyone!
