日船章魚小丸子 鹽行夜市

Although there are many branches of Nippon Maru Takoyaki, this particular one is my favorite. If you love takoyaki, you might have noticed that even though Nippon Maru is a famous chain, the prices vary in different locations. I once saw takoyaki for 50 TWD outside the Nanzi train station, but at the same time, it was only 40 TWD at the Yanching location in Yongkang. Although the price is lower there, the ingredients are still very substantial, and you can really taste the octopus.

The shop usually adds a bit too much mayonnaise for my liking, so I usually ask them to put less. Among the various flavors, my favorite is the spicy one, which simply has chili powder sprinkled on the takoyaki.

However, as stated in the photo, with the price increases this year, the takoyaki that used to be 40 TWD has now risen to 50 TWD. In fact, aside from the Yanching Night Market, there is also a Nippon Maru Takoyaki located a few hundred meters away at Nanhua University, so I could go there another day and write a review. Overall, though, I still prefer this one at the night market.

Also, if I remember correctly, there are currently two takoyaki places at the Yanching Night Market. I still recommend this one, even though the price has increased, I still come to eat here occasionally.
