An affordable Japanese restaurant offering rice bowls, sashimi set meals, sushi, and sashimi, making it a great place to bring family and kids for a meal.
The restaurant is located next to Carrefour in Luzhou, with a friendly atmosphere and a Japanese izakaya style. It feels relaxed, and in the evening, many local families come to dine.
The menu is budget-friendly, with rice bowls ranging from 180-300 NT, and sushi and sashimi are also reasonably priced. More expensive seafood rice bowls are 600-800 NT. It's nice to be able to eat fresh sashimi for these prices!
🍣 Invincible Ocean View Rice Bowl $600
Includes tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi, bream sashimi, golden fish, flounder fin meat, squid, Hokkaido salmon roe, scallops, sea urchin, and angel shrimp.
The rice is vinegared and sprinkled with seasoning powder, adding flavor. The seafood selection is diverse and luxurious, with every seafood ingredient being fresh and without a hint of fishiness.
Personally, I was most impressed by the salmon and sea urchin. The salmon was rich and delicious, while the sea urchin had no unpleasant odor, with a perfect sea flavor and saltiness. Every bite of the rice bowl paired well with various seafood, providing a diverse and rich texture.
👉 The set comes with steamed egg custard, shrimp hand roll, miso soup, and 3 small side dishes.
The steamed egg custard was simple but included some whitebait at the bottom. The contrast between the whitebait's firm texture and the smooth custard was a bit off, but it showed sincerity.
The miso soup was standard white miso powder.
The shrimp hand roll was as expected, acceptable.
The three side dishes were cold appetizers. I personally liked their golden kimchi, which was flavorful, salty, and had a mild sourness that was very appetizing.

Overall, it's a restaurant worth revisiting. They offer a variety of Japanese alcoholic beverages, making it suitable for either a proper meal or a light drink with some snacks.
