Upon arriving near my previous workplace, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic about the restaurant where we used to have dinner during overtime; the entire decor has also become outdated. Due to its proximity to the school district and the courthouse, it's convenient to park scooters nearby, but cars need to take a little detour. I really missed their udon noodles, so I ordered the pork cutlet udon and fried tofu. However, it wasn't as delicious as I remember the stir-fried udon noodles to be, which feels a bit disappointing.

Pork chop udon noodles - 198 NT dollars. The pork chop and udon noodles are served separately, and there is also a sauce included.

The pork chop itself is quite thick, but a bit dry, so you'll need to drink some beverages or water while eating it.

The udon noodles themselves have a braised egg, some bean sprouts, and sliced scallions in the broth. The udon noodles are as chewy as I originally expected, but I was hoping for more vegetables. The broth tastes like bonito stock.

Fried tofu for 100 yuan. In addition to being served with fermented broad bean paste and garlic soy sauce, a small dish of kimchi is also provided for enjoyment.

The pickles have a Taiwanese flavor, slightly sour and salty, with a spiciness that comes later. When paired with tofu, it has a somewhat subtle taste.

Doubanjiang has a fishy smell, for some reason, so I dipped everything in garlic sauce from start to finish. The garlic sauce is delicious.

The fried tofu is different from what I expected in terms of crispiness; the filling resembles frozen tofu and is quite firm, but it doesn’t have much flavor on its own.
