吃咖 Chikafe

“Eat Coffee Chikafe” is located near the old roundabout market, at the entrance of a small alley. It’s not too far from Beimen Station, Taipei Main Station, and Zhongshan Station, with the nearest MRT station being Beimen Station, about a 7-minute walk away. Right next to it is the famous Dadaocheng Braised Pork Rice.

The shop is not large, mainly with seating on the second floor, but there are only about 10 seats. The main color scheme inside is white paired with wood tones, and they also sell some selected items.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM without a reservation, but there was a four-person table available. However, they have a two-hour time limit on holidays, so we had to give up our table after two hours for the next group of customers.

This café mainly sells drinks and desserts, and the desserts available that day were displayed with photos or illustrations, which was quite cute! Additionally, they have some savory food, such as Thai basil pork rice and curry rice.

However, we had just eaten and were looking for a café to continue chatting, so we only ordered drinks.

Iced Milk Tea $140
When the drink was served, it was quite beautiful, maintaining a nice gradient. You have to stir it before drinking. It’s served without ice, so it’s just cool to the touch.
I personally found the sweetness just right, not too sweet, and the milk flavor was rich and creamy. It’s a very enjoyable fresh milk tea and doesn’t taste bland or watered down.

The desserts from this place seem quite famous; I want to come and try them next time!
