《Environment》
A specialty restaurant for Taiwanese cuisine in Taichung, its main offerings are porridge 🥘, Taiwanese dishes, and various dim sum. It is quite similar to Chun Shui Tang but adds a bit more Taiwanese flair. There are many branches opening in December, and this time I visited the Gui He branch, which has a vintage decor 🏰. The restaurant has quite a few seats, including private rooms that can be booked. The seating 💺 space is very spacious and comfortable.

《Dishes》

📍 Grouper Porridge 💰310
The restaurant's signature dish is its porridge, which comes in various flavors. The porridge serving size can be determined based on the number of people, and for 4 people, it’s recommended to order one serving as the portion is quite generous. The porridge is garnished with peanut butter, chopped green onions, celery, and cilantro. Remember to inform the restaurant of any dietary restrictions.

📍 Salted Bitter Melon 💰260
Moderately salty flavor but lacks a bit of aroma; the bitter melon has a crunchy texture.

📍 Hometown Dongpo Pork 💰320
Four pieces of Dongpo pork; it looks very salty but is actually moderate in flavor. It’s recommended to order it as an upgraded set, as pairing it with rice enhances the taste.

📍 Hometown Steamed Tender Chicken 💰340
A recommended dish from the restaurant; the chicken is thigh meat and is quite salty, making it perfectly paired with rice.

📍 Oyster Sauce Steamed Chicken Feet 💰120
Light flavor, and the chicken feet are soft and easy to eat.

📍 Black Bean Sauce Steamed Pork Ribs 💰120
Portion is on the smaller side, flavor is mild.

📍 Dajia Taro Fresh Milk 💰130
Highly recommended; you can enjoy the taro toppings, which are comparable to those from chain beverage shops.

📍 Upgraded Set 💰99
Includes a bowl of plain rice and two side dishes.

《Parking》
There is an open space in front of the restaurant for parking 🅿️, which can accommodate about ten cars. 🛵 There are also plenty of spots available nearby for scooters.

《Service》
❗️Dining time is 90 minutes❗️ The service of the restaurant is a bit tighter during peak hours, and the plates on the table cannot be cleared promptly, but the speed of serving dishes is quite fast. Those who wish to take photos may not have to worry about the dishes cooling down.
