The legendary best pizza in the world? Speaking of pizza, the national delicacy that can be seen everywhere in Italy, it would be unreasonable not to eat it in Naples, because pizza was invented in Naples.
This "Gino e Totò Sorbillo" is located in Naples. It is one of the first well-known pizza restaurants in Naples. The pizza has a wide variety of flavors and the menu has three sides, ensuring that there is no choice.
Because this pizza shop is very popular, it opens at 12 noon. When we arrived around 11:50, there was already a long queue, but because there are so many seats in the store, if I read it correctly, there are three floors in total.
Their pizza has a thin crust. We ordered the Buffalo Cheese Margherita Pizza (MARGHERITTA BUFALA D.O.P) €8.5 and the Fried Pizza (PIZZA FRITTA DI ZIA ESTERINA SORBILLO) €6.5 which many people recommended on the Internet.
Buffalo Cheese Margherita Pizza €8.5
Margherita is a classic flavor. To test whether it tastes good or not, just order this flavor. In fact, their Margherita did not disappoint us at all. Tomato has no taste that I am afraid of, and it goes well with cheese and grilled pizza. The skin goes perfectly with it, and it tastes great when eaten with a little buffalo cheese.
Fried pizza €6.5
When the fried pizza came to the table, we were dumbfounded. We were given an empty plate first, and then a large piece of fried pizza was poured out of the paper bag. It was really a "big piece". When we first cut it and ate it, we thought it had no toppings. Yes, it's a bit like Taiwanese fried scallion pancakes in texture and taste. Later I found out that it actually contains cheese and something that looks like cured bacon. I think it's delicious, but the crust of fried pizza will become a bit tough after being left for a long time, which is not good. Just bite
Overall, Gino e Totò Sorbillo can definitely be said to be a delicious pizza, but whether it is the best pizza in the world is a matter of opinion. Personally, I don’t think it is so exaggerated and amazing. You can eat it if there are not many people queuing up, but If you have to wait in line for a long time, you can think again.
