I'm not familiar with Taoyuan, but the shop is located downstairs in a residential area. There are no parking lots nearby; everyone seems to park directly on the roadside in the white lines. The interior of the shop is quite spacious, and the decor is very modern.
Since I went a bit late, there were no savory dishes left. I had high expectations for the savory food, but upon looking at the menu, I found the prices to be quite high.
❣️ Chimney roll - $120
The taste of flour is very strong, and it's overall quite dry. The honey barely masks the flour taste; it's not really worth spending over $100 on this dessert.
❣️ Tiramisu - $260
At first glance, the portion seems large, but the bottom is sponge cake with no coffee flavor and no alcohol taste. Given the price, it performs very poorly.
❣️ Matcha latte - $160
The flavor is extremely light; it’s the first time I've had a matcha latte that completely lacks any milk taste.
Overall, the prices are very high, but the food doesn’t taste good. The staff were rather cold. After finishing the food that day, I left immediately; it was the first time I encountered a place where I didn't want to sit for long.
