This area actually has many restaurants and coffee shops because it is very close to both the beach and a hiking area. People often come here for a meal or to have afternoon tea right after hiking. Generally, the weather here is quite nice, so the business for restaurants and coffee shops is doing well!
This coffee shop ☕️ nearby has pretty high ratings! After walking in, I can understand why. They have a good variety of menu options, not only coffee but also matcha 🍵, and their matcha is very authentically Japanese.
I ordered a ❤️ matcha latte and switched the milk part of the matcha latte to oat milk. In most places abroad, it’s common to have this option since there are many people with allergies, so they offer various types of milk to choose from. Besides oat milk, you can also switch to almond milk. Personally, I think using oat milk makes the latte taste richer and more aromatic. Plus, the matcha is really the traditional hand-whisked kind, which tastes amazing!
I also highly recommend their scones. The blueberry scone in the photo is one that they sell directly from the display case. What’s special is that even without baking, it’s still crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with an incredibly rich aroma. The blueberry flavor is very sweet and fragrant, making it a great choice for afternoon tea!
I personally highly recommend this café. If you’re in the area, I suggest stopping by for some afternoon tea or getting a coffee to take home; it's a great option!
