📍Location: Taichung, Beitun
A chain Indian cuisine restaurant with a children's play area.
Stable quality, still loved by friends and family.

This time, I was nominated to visit this Indian restaurant again but tried another branch.
Four people had a set meal for two, plus naan bread, curry, and we ordered an extra Indian-style stir-fried dish. Everyone was full and after eating, we went for a walk nearby on the mountain trail.

🍲 This time, we ordered:
Appetizer: Masala crispy wafer rolls
1 type of grilled dish - Tandoori chicken pieces
2 types of soup - Indian pumpkin soup, Indian lentil soup
3 types of curry - White sauce chicken, cheese cashew, mixed seafood curry
4 types of naan - Plain, butter, garlic, whole wheat
1 dish of spiced stir-fried cabbage
2 cups of Indian hot chai tea

💰 Meal for two $1200 + garlic naan $110 + whole wheat naan $90 + stir-fried cabbage $280 + cheese cashew curry $360 + 10% service charge = $2244 for 4 people

Most dishes were shared, but because the portions were large, we didn't feel hungry even without individual servings.

The meal details will be explained in the photos below.

🅿️ Parking information: The restaurant does not have a parking lot, but there are parking spaces nearby, and there's a larger parking lot at Dakeng if you walk a bit. Parking is convenient on weekdays, but it gets busy on weekends.

Cheese Cashew Curry Loved by friends and family who enjoy sweets. There are a lot of cheese cubes, which for me is a bit overwhelming, but for those who like sweet flavors, it really wins their hearts (they frequently praise it, saying it's the best dish).
White Sauce Chicken Curry The chicken chunks are still plentiful and large, with a rich and fragrant sauce. Having eaten it several times, it remains delicious and goes well with rice or naan.
Mixed Seafood Curry This is a new attempt that also left me quite amazed. The seafood served is very generous, with shrimp, small octopus (not sure if it's octopus or squid, or something else?), and circles that look like calamari, and there are not just one or two, my friends and I concluded that there are about 3 to 4 of each item. With this portion size and flavor, I personally think it's a great deal.
Whole Wheat Flatbread Since the curry already has sauce and is very flavorful, if pairing with flatbread, I personally recommend whole wheat and plain. It won't overshadow the curry's charm.
Creamy baked cake
Original flavor pancake
Garlic-flavored roasted cake
Stir-fried Cabbage with Spices One of the Indian dishes I tried for the first time, it tastes like stir-fried cabbage with extra turmeric sprinkled on it. It's a bit oily and not as refreshing, but in a curry dish without vegetables, it serves as an enjoyable option for getting some greens.
Cheese Grilled Chicken Bites Since friends and family found the previous spicy flavor a bit hot, this time I chose the cheese flavor. The chicken bites are still large, but after a while, the taste can become a bit monotonous. Personally, I prefer a mix of flavors to make it more varied and rich.
Indian-style lentil soup It won't have a strong spice flavor, and you'll find crushed lentils inside. Those who like bean soup should be quite familiar with it; I personally think it's better than pumpkin soup.
Indian-style pumpkin soup I had it once before, and it was pretty good. You can taste the pumpkin flesh inside; it's not the sweet kind of pumpkin soup. But since I've already had lentil soup, I would currently vote for the lentil soup instead.
Masa La crispy roll This crispy roll really should be eaten with salad to match the flavor, but it tastes quite salty on its own. Pairing it with salad and salad dressing is just right.
Indian Masala Chai ~ The most basic cardamom flavor, a must-order every time.
Cheese curry cheese Each piece is this big.
The shrimp in the mixed seafood curry Although they are all covered in sauce, you can tell they are quite large just by looking at their size.
The text translates to "Small octopus in mixed seafood curry (?)" in English.
Partial composite photo of the dishes Due to the table not being big enough, and sometimes there being a delay in serving, not all dishes were captured in one shot.
Free gift - shrimp crackers on every table (?)
This store has an elevator! It looks like it's about 3 floors high.
The stairway is also filled with Indian decorations.

Outdoor children's play sandpit area You can bring kids to play 👌
The part of the reception and the entrance.
This store also sells some Indian dishes, seasonings, and incense. You can purchase some Indian items; it's really nice! 👌
