I am no exception! Although the summer is extremely hot, it can’t stop me from loving hot pot!
Today I came to "That Pot" to taste it. This branch is located on the bustling Hankou Road in North District. The store is very eye-catching at the corner, especially the fiery red chili on the sign is extremely recognizable!
The overall decoration of the store is antique, with alternating red and black tones interpreting the spicy atmosphere, which is very unique! Although it was dinner time when we entered the store, luckily there were still seats. The food was served very quickly. After ordering,

🔸️ Matsusaka Pork Hotpot $228 The store’s hot pot soup base is mainly spicy, and the hot pot soup on the menu Basically, you choose the meat. The soup base and ingredients are similar. There are five spiciness levels. You can choose the spiciness level according to your personal acceptance! After serving, the rich spicy aroma is mixed with the aroma of Sichuan peppercorns Strong and tangy! Hot pot ingredients include duck blood, corn shoots, and cabbage , fried dough sticks, enoki mushrooms, fish dumplings, egg dumplings, rice blood, tofu balls and more! I took a sip of the soup - it tasted spicy and salty, with a hint of Sichuan peppercorns at the end. Unfortunately, the overall saltiness was too salty. Pairing it with white rice can neutralize the saltiness, and it went well with the meal!

Matsusaka pork, one of the protagonists, tastes soft and not refreshing. If you eat a few more pieces, it will taste a little sour in the end, which is a pity!

The tofu is soft, tender and delicious, and it is very marinated and very tasty! The salty aroma is delicious with rice!

The egg dumplings are very special. They have been cooked for a long time and the skin is elastic! The pork stuffing is plump and delicious! The slightly eggy aroma mixed with the spicy taste is a perfect match for rice! The other hotpot ingredients are just average, not particularly impressive!

🔸️ That noodle $25 This must-try noodle dish is highly rated on the Internet. When served, it is just a bowl of mediocre dry noodles. It is tasteless on the outside but smells faintly of soy sauce. I sprinkled the chopped green onion myself from the sauce section! After mixing it well, I took a sip of the noodles and my eyes lit up! This noodle is rich in aroma, mixed with simple lard and soy sauce, and full of strong ancient flavor. It’s delicious! I was almost deceived by its ordinary appearance. The point is that you just need to use it internally. There is no extra price for additional noodles, all you can eat! It can be said to be great news for those who control pasta~🤗🤗

The sauce section only has simple sesame sauce, chopped green onions and white vinegar. Sesame paste is very good at relieving tiredness, you can try it!

🔸️ Divine milk tea $40 This cup of milk tea tastes pretty good, with a hint of caramel at the end. The aroma feels like Hong Kong's silk stocking milk tea. The taste is very delicate and smooth. The tea aroma is okay. Enjoy it with the spicy hotpot. It’s a good choice!
