Went to Taipei Main Station with classmates to eat udon noodles, let's see who can resist taking too much 🤣

There are many branches of Marugame Seimen, but the soup broth tastes different...

Meals:
The soup udon, I personally really like the texture of udon; it’s chewy and smooth, perfectly absorbing the broth. Marugame's udon meets my requirements for texture. Additionally, the soup udon doesn’t have other toppings, relying only on tempura scraps and green onions, which is quite cost-effective... (seriously 🥹)

This place has a rather salty broth; I've eaten here for two days, and both days the flavor was very salty. 😑

Deep-fried okra is good food for those with stomach discomfort as that sliminess can protect the stomach lining. Although it’s been fried, that sliminess is still well-preserved. = =+

Chicken nuggets have quite a bit of batter and chicken skin; when the skin comes off, you're left with only a portion of meat, making it a bit greasy.

Service:
When I went, there happened to be no line, but there were many diners inside. The staff were very polite both at checkout and when serving food.

Environment:
The seat I got was slightly dirty, but other areas were quite clean, including the self-service dish return area.

Review:
After taking the first sip of the broth, I thought I was in Japan; it was so salty. I'm not sure if they didn’t check the flavor because it was running low. This was quite a letdown. The noodles here are a bit softer compared to other branches, and the chewy texture was slightly below standard. Overall, a below-average rating.

It looks very light, but it's actually quite salty...
