The rest stop Pavilion in Taoyuan's Yong'an store is located on Yong'an Road in Taoyuan, with plenty of white lines along the roadside, making it quite convenient to park and buy a drink. Today, I happened to pass by and was quite thirsty, and I happened to see a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, so I decided to purchase this item. In hot weather, sometimes shopping doesn't necessarily have to focus on preferences; the cost-to-value ratio is also very important.
Today, I enjoyed a buy-one-get-one-free offer of peach green tea with coconut jelly, totaling 55 NT dollars.
Peach green tea with coconut jelly:
The peach aroma is quite pleasant, and paired with the refreshing green tea, it's a fairly balanced combination. However, the amount of coconut jelly is truly surprising. In the second photo, I brought the drink home and poured it into a cup for a picture. Although I didn't choose the standard 700ml cup, the coconut jelly filled nearly half of it.
Because of this, when I got to the bottom, it was extremely sweet... really super sweet.
Overall, considering the promotional price of buy-one-get-one-free, I don't have much criticism. However, if purchased at the regular price, it would indeed be too sweet; it might need to be lowered to no sugar to be palatable.
The shop has a not-so-spacious, but sufficient indoor area to take a break 😂
Founded in 1992 in Taipei, the rest stop Pavilion has almost disappeared in Taiwan, but has successfully expanded in North America and Southeast Asia. If you are lucky enough to travel abroad, you might just have the chance to encounter it around the corner.
I recommend it to everyone.
