Italians have a dining culture where they drink a pre-dinner drink before dinner. After work, they have a pre-dinner drink with a small snack, and then have dinner after 8 o'clock. It is really a country that knows how to enjoy things. !
We took a walk to the Milan Canal District at around 5 pm today, which made people feel like they were on vacation. There were bars and restaurants along both sides of the canal, and shop assistants would stand in front of the stores to solicit customers. Each store has a half-way facing the canal. Outdoor seating area, sit in the outdoor seating with the sunshine, and have a glass of wine, it is very chill
We didn’t do any special research, we just found a restaurant and went in. A Spritz and Snack were €7, which is about $245 in Taiwan dollars.
Spritz can choose between Aperol or Campari. Since I haven’t tried it before, I decided to order a glass of each. Aperol tastes sour and sweet (?), a bit like cold medicine. It quenches my thirst but is not to my taste. I can’t say it tastes good. Campari The first thing I felt after drinking it was that it seemed to taste smoother than Aperol. Just when I thought so, the bitter taste rushed out immediately at the end. Well, I take back my previous thought, it is so bitter! I can’t do this cup either!
For snacks, I originally thought there would be potato chips, but it turned out to be popcorn, peanuts, and olives. The popcorn was salty, but in fact it tasted tasteless and was "moist" (in Taiwanese), which was not delicious. The peanuts were also Okay, since we don’t eat olives in the first place, we don’t dare to touch them at all. The food and wine are not to my taste either.
Overall, my personal opinion on pre-dinner drinks is "Just come to Italy and do as the Romans do and try it once. I probably won't drink it a second time." If you really want to drink it a second time with friends, that's fine. But I want to choose a store that sells potato chips, so I won’t choose this one either.
