The café I originally wanted to go to was closed. While planning to walk to another one, I found this café that looked quite new. Since it was really hot outside, I went in directly.
The seating area is on the second floor. After informing the counter of the number of people, you can take the menu and go upstairs to find a seat. The minimum order is one drink or one dessert. After deciding what to order, you go down to the first floor to place your order and pay. You receive a sensor, and when it goes off, you can go downstairs to pick up your dessert. The staff will bring the drinks to your table. After finishing your meal, you need to return your dishes to the recycling area.
The second floor is mainly white, with a seating area and a comfortable sofa area that looked nice. However, when I went, the sofa area was already occupied, so I chose a window seat. In the afternoon, sunlight streamed in beautifully, though it was a bit hot. I couldn’t tell if it was because the window was too warm or if the air conditioning wasn’t sufficient, as there weren’t too many customers that day.
I ordered the Basque Tiramisu— it had a hint of alcohol and a rich tiramisu flavor, and the cheese was quite strong, with some small crunchy bits on the side for texture. The red tea latte was fairly ordinary, but it was okay.
Just before finishing my meal, I noticed two black cats lazily sunbathing by the window. I only realized afterwards that they had sensors beside them, as well as a black cat on the entrance mat, which was quite cute.
They are closed on Thursdays for regular days, but open every day during summer and winter vacations. It's less than a 5-minute walk from Crescent Plaza, and you can park at Crescent Plaza and walk over. The food is acceptable, but the ordering and picking up process can be a bit cumbersome for one person, as you have to keep carrying things up and down. In addition to desserts, there are also light meals and alcoholic beverages, and their hours are quite long, so it's worth a try if you get the chance.
