I go to this chain beef tongue rice restaurant at least once every time I come to Japan. It might not rank first among all the beef tongue rice dishes I've tried, but at 1,500 yen per person, it offers pretty good value for money. The beef tongue in this shop is appropriately salty and tastes quite good, especially the thick-cut beef tongue. It is not too tough and can be easily broken without chewing too much. Needless to say, the rice is Japanese. Can white rice be bad? The only thing I didn't like was his mashed yam, but that's my personal problem, the rest of the family including my picky eating daughter loved it.
While this restaurant may not wow people to the point of wowing them, it does serve up a delicious meal that will make your mouth water every time you think about it. For those who like beef tongue rice, this is definitely worth a try. It's presented in an approachable way, allowing everyone who visits to enjoy delicious beef tongue without worrying about the price. In Japan, if you have a certain love for beef tongue like me, this beef tongue rice restaurant is definitely worth a try.
