This small vendor next to the Qidu Qingji Temple (Qidu Ma) has actually been operating here for many years. The batter of this chicken cake is made of whole eggs and no water is added at all, so it tastes rich and eggy. The fragrance is very real and solid, not an empty egg cake that is full of air.
Their chicken cakes are all in the shape of "plum blossoms" and the prices are so cheap👏
The ones without fillings are $40 (ten pieces), and the ones with fillings are $75 (eight pieces). The fillings are filled to the point of bursting with fillings, which is full of sincerity.
We bought a mixed flavor this time, and customized it with red bean, cream, and brown sugar mochi. The red bean filling is soft and soft, and the sweetness is just right (not too sweet); I also like the cream one, which has a very milky taste. It is thick and not too powdery, more like the texture of moist custard; the brown sugar mochi is not too sweet, which is less sweet than expected. Of these flavors, I prefer cream the most, but the others are actually not bad either, but the creaminess makes me take one mouthful after another!
The price is very reasonable and the fillings are really filling! The proprietress is very careful in preparing the meals. I will buy them again after experiencing them👍
