🎖️ Lost Taipei 🎖️
Lost Taipei. A Taiwanese dessert shop that has been in Chengdu for many years and has always had a good reputation. The owner is Taiwanese, so how could I not come to support them!
I ordered the Mango Shaved Ice (46 RMB, equivalent to about 150 TWD). Given the current prices in Taiwan, it's quite rare to find mango ice at this price.
The shop's environment is not very spacious, but it's clean and comfortable. However, on a day like this, it's even more enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy ice while feeling the breeze. There's also a movie poster for "Monga" on the wall.
The mango was cut into large pieces and was very sweet, topped with some condensed milk, and there was also a big scoop of ice cream. The ice is of the fluffy kind, and it contained Oreo cookie crumbs and herbal jelly, making it very satisfying to eat.
(Although the most impressive mango ice I've had was from Tainan Ice Paradise, the line there can be too long....)
They also have strawberry and watermelon "jumping" ice. As the name suggests, it includes popping candy, and I feel like it’s been a long time since I’ve had that kind of treat. Additionally, there’s a recommendation for peanut ice, so I will definitely come back to try that next time!
