After picking strawberries in Miaoli Dahu, we decided to swing by Dongshi for lunch.
Binyuan Food Court is located near Shicheng Elementary School.
There’s a parking lot next to the restaurant, but it often gets full because of the large number of diners.
We arrived around 12:20 and were told that without a reservation, we could only eat until 13:00, as there were no more tables available after that.
So it’s recommended to make a reservation in advance!

This time we ordered:
⭐️ Grilled Catfish 💰100
Served with Japanese sauce and bonito flakes, it was prepared as a cold dish.
It was very refreshing and appetizing.

⭐️ Crispy Beef Marrow 💰180
A dish I had never seen before.
It looks similar to fried tofu, and the texture is also quite similar,
but it has the fresh taste of beef, and it wasn't greasy at all.

⭐️ Garlic Salted Pork 💰200
The salted pork was thinly sliced after being grilled, then paired with a special dipping sauce.
The dipping sauce is the highlight of this dish.
You must order it to try!

⭐️ Sauerkraut and Pork Belly Soup 💰100
The slightly sour sauerkraut combined with plenty of pork belly made for a delicious soup!

The restaurant’s serving speed is a standout feature—everything we ordered arrived in about 10 minutes!
Maybe it was because we were really hungry, but we barely put our chopsticks down.
We finished and left before 1 o'clock.

In summary,
this restaurant is worth revisiting,
but next time we have to remember to make a reservation!
