"Japan D2!" by me, who is wandering around Japan with friends.

<About the Staff 👨‍🍳>
+5⭐️

The staff's service attitude is very good. When I encountered an unfamiliar eating method (soba soup), I asked directly, and they kindly explained how to eat it. One male staff member was also very eager to help us with pouring tea and checking how we were enjoying the food, completely contrary to the negative service attitude mentioned in the Google reviews!

<About the Environment 🐾>
+4.5⭐️

Although it's in a tourist area, the shop is very quiet, with some music to enhance the atmosphere. Having stayed in Taiwan for a long time, I found the space in Japan to be relatively small, but considering Japan’s characteristic of being densely populated, this is understandable.

This is raw marinated octopus, quite salty and a bit fishy, but I personally find it within an acceptable range. However, the texture of the octopus is a bit different from what I imagined; after a few bites, it feels a bit like biting into plastic. But since it still has flavor, it's not impossible to swallow (or is it actually not meant to be swallowed!?).
The meal set, it's my first time seeing dual main dishes, how novel!
The tempura rice bowl and fried vegetables are all very fragrant. I especially like the fried pumpkin; it's salty and sweet. The fried shrimp is different from what I had at D1, similar to what is commonly found in Taiwan but larger and more tender, and the batter isn't too thick. 😆
The buckwheat noodles are quite chewy, and with the dipping sauce (which has mustard), they taste better than I expected.
Pickled vegetables should be the appetizer here, and they are saltier than I expected. Not my favorite, to be honest.
Dessert after a meal, very similar to Taiwanese jelly but a bit thicker. It's not too sweet, but I can't quite describe the taste 🤔. In any case, it's pretty delicious, with a faint fragrance. I recommend everyone to give it a try!
Fried pumpkin, push push.
Fried lotus root, this is crispier than I imagined!
Fried eggplant, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with skin that isn't too thick, and the eggplant pieces are quite large.
Buckwheat soup, when added to the dipping sauce for buckwheat, can be made into a soup. Personally, I think it's quite tasty, but there might not be enough buckwheat water. I wonder if I can ask the staff for more. 🤔
The translation of "蕎麥湯本人" to English is "Buckwheat soup person."
Just to give everyone a little knowledge, I really thought it was amazing the first time I encountered it 🤣.
