"Environment"
Located on the hillside of Daken Mountain, this scenic restaurant specializes in iron pot dishes from Northeast China 🍲. When the dish is served, you might be taken aback by the size of the large iron pot on your table, as it is quite large to the point of being exaggerated. The interior decoration has a classic charm that makes it a great spot for photo ops, especially if you’re wearing a qipao 🤣.
"Dishes"
📍 Iron Pot Braised Pork Ribs 💰920
📍 Dried Tofu 💰100
📍 Hazelnut Mushrooms 💰100
📍 Napa Cabbage 💰100
📍 Corn Cake 💰100
This time, two of us went to taste the dishes. The iron pot cooking requires about 30 minutes from ordering to enjoying ⌛️. The pot dishes are very flavorful and do not need dipping sauces to be delicious. The amount of pork ribs 🍖 is quite generous, making for a satisfying meal. I highly recommend adding hazelnut mushrooms, which taste like dried mushrooms and pair well. The napa cabbage 🥬 absorbs the essence of the broth and complements its own sweetness perfectly 👍. The corn cake, a unique Northeast dish, cooks right on the iron pot and is even better when dipped in the broth 😋, completely replacing the need for rice!
📍 Northeast Style Cold Dishes 💰100
This is a must-order dish that is very refreshing and has a rich, layered texture.
📍 Northeast Cold Skin Noodles 💰100
The cold skin noodles feel similar to rice noodles but are not as chewy. They are paired with cucumber 🥒 to enhance the texture and are also very refreshing.
📍 Secret Plum Juice 💰180
The restaurant’s iron pot dishes tend to be heavily flavored, so a glass of plum juice helps to cut the oiliness, and its taste is very mild and smooth.
