This was my first time eating eel rice in Taiwan, and it was quite good. The boss was very nice and generous; before the rice was served, he treated us to some offal and even gave an extra piece of grilled eel. I ordered the Matsusaka pork eel and a small eel rice, and I initially thought I might not be full, but the portions turned out to be quite generous, and there was also soup and small side dishes included. Overall, I felt the value for money was quite high.
