Afternoon Tea2 pplCN¥61.5

📍Coordinates: Shanghai, China

Although Basdban is an internet celebrity bakery,
But the bread and cakes are also really good, and the croissants sold in the store are even known as the croissant ceiling in Shanghai.

On a summer afternoon in Shanghai, the rain was falling and stopping occasionally, but fortunately, because of the weather, there was surprisingly no queue at this bakery, which usually has a long queue.
The take-out paper bags almost filled half the counter, but there were not many people using them inside. The store is decorated in an industrial style, with various iron plates and chains decorating the entire store. It’s hard to imagine that this is a bakery!

What we ordered for dinner for two today:

-Mango chocolate sandwich (¥48)
The cross-section of the sandwich cake is very beautiful. I don’t know how the mango can be cut into such a round shape and each piece is the same size. In addition to the huge chunks of mango pulp, there is also a layer of mango mousse and chocolate whipped cream. The mango is very sweet and fresh, and the chocolate whipped cream seems to be freshly made today. It is delicious and sinful🤤. It has a thicker texture. The sweet and sour taste of the mango goes well with the chocolate without being too sweet.
Although the price is high, the whole cake is quite big. Even if two people share it, it is still very satisfying. It is a filling cake. It is highly recommended to try. It is worthy of being the number one recommendation from netizens🥇. I will think about it next time Repurchase!

-Black truffle ham croissant (¥38)
Since it is called a croissant ceiling, you should order a croissant to eat.
The top of this croissant is topped with four complete slices of black truffle. It seems that a lot of effort has been made. You can smell the aroma of truffle even before you eat it.
After biting into it, you will find that the surface of the croissant is very crispy, and you can eat it with great layers! But be careful as it is easy to drop small crumbs. After all, it is a stuffed croissant, so the layers cannot be very thick. If you want a more obvious layering, you should order the original large croissant.
The filling is also very delicious, with truffle cream filling and chunks of ham, which are seasoned just right.

I just finished eating the sweet sandwich cake and then had the salty croissant. I thought it was a very good ending and very satisfying😋

-Milk coffee (¥32, change to MOMA oat milk +¥5)
The oat milk latte was also delicious, but less impressive.

Although this bakery is not cheap, I think the ingredients it uses are very real, and the bread and cakes are made with exquisiteness. Compared with some dessert shops that are expensive and feel empty after eating, this bakery It is worthy of its price, so I would like to give it 5 🌟. It is a bakery that I would like to visit next time, and I recommend it to everyone.

P.S. I took a lot of photos, but the Foody camera couldn’t even locate them...😰 They can only be attached to the store menu, and those who are interested can click in to take a look!

The table has a special shape and is perfect for posing. It is worthy of being an online beauty store.

Hovering beyond restaurants deserving of Foodies’ recognition, let’s taste some of Kadorar (嘉多娜)’s nationally renowned signature breads that are worth the dough. A bite into these warm, chewy, crusty, substantial and fragrant edamame blueberries cheese tea breads instantly opens the floodgates to our childhood memories of sweet dreams. We definitely could make a meal out of these satisfactorily moist petite delicacies. It’s one of our best “Shut-up-and-take-my-money!” dining eXperience if you support bakery people who make astonishingly amazing breads, show love for democratic freedom towards liberal living as well as peaceful lifestyles. #香港人加油

Willa Jean
BakeryNew Orleans
Can't disagree with their self description: Adding a modern touch to traditional southern cuisine, Willa Jean elevates classic dishes with creative flair and innovative twists while staying true to the roots of the region's culinary heritage. Willa Jean is a cherished bakery in new orleans's heart, known for its comforting southern fare. The place is modern and bright with its glass walls covering half of the room. The biscuits are fantastic and a must have when being in NOLA. We had the fried chicken and tabasco honey biscuit and the bacon and egg and pimento cheese biscuit. Too bad we couldn't try more from the menu. The service was very good, friendly and attentive.

Aunty Ann @ NU Empire
BakerySubang Jaya
A typical Aunty Anne chain that is famous for its pretzels. Plenty of different kinds to choose from. They also sell other pastry sticks, sausage and cheese nuggets if pretzels arent your thing. There is also lemonade for drinks and dips awailable for extra charge. There are seasonal promotional items to try. Food is packed with easy to eat packaging; making it a good snack to eat while walking around. Pretzel tasted nice with soft texture and well seasoned. Lemonade (not in pic) is also quite decent, with a nice sour refreshing taste. Service was quick as expected and staff were friendly.
