Student Review – What to Eat

The Begl in Shenzhen Wanxiang Tiandi
Originally in Shanghai, it has now come to Shenzhen.

★ Menu:
Fig Bagel - 17 RMB

★ Thoughts:
We went around 12:30 on a weekday, and it was very crowded; we needed to wait for seats. There isn’t much cover nearby, so I highly recommend getting a number card a little earlier.

Since we had a buffet breakfast, I only ordered a fig bagel.
Every bagel inside looked very stuffed. I noticed my friend's pistachio bagel next to me; when opened, the filling only covered about half of the bagel.
(I’ll give a precautionary note) If I saw my bagel with only half the filling, I would be very disappointed.

The fig bagel has a chewy and bouncy texture.
It doesn’t feel doughy, and its texture is similar to the bagels at Hao Qiu in Taipei.
The fig filling is not overly abundant but is evenly distributed.

The biggest advantage of this shop, which makes me want to return, is their variety of filled bagels!
If I hadn’t eaten such a big breakfast, I would have bought a ton!

If you’re worried about not being used to it, they sometimes have plain mini dog bagels to try at the entrance! Very thoughtful.
Also, the waitstaff are very nice and will proactively tell you how many people are ahead in line.
