Da Ming Standard Tea House is a hand-crank beverage chain that has been much discussed recently. It started in Taichung. This branch is located near Taipei Main Station, about a 4-minute walk from the M8 exit. There are quite a lot of people every time you pass by. Look Looks like business is good
Roasted Sugar Buckwheat Frozen Milk Greens $64 (original price $69, use an eco-friendly cup to get $5 off)
The base is the signature Yulu Milk Green. I really like that the taste of the green tea itself is not overshadowed by the taste of milk. It can still be clearly felt every time I drink the drink.
As for the buckwheat jelly, it has an aroma similar to coffee jelly and tastes quite smooth and satisfying.
The whole drink tastes like an intertwining of buckwheat jelly, green tea, and milk flavors. They all work together, and no one flavor is particularly secretive or sudden.
The only drawback is that it is a bit sweet despite not having any sugar (looking at the product name, I guess the buckwheat jelly may be cooked with roasted sugar?), so I feel like drinking water while drinking it. Next time, it might be better to order sugar-free, but overall To say the least, I am satisfied with this drink~
Bubble milk tea $50 (original price $55, use an eco-friendly cup to get $5 off)
This was ordered by a friend. I took a few sips, and the conclusion is that I don’t like it very much. The first thing I felt when I drank it was that the creamer smell was very strong, which made me feel cheap, and the slight sugar tasted so sweet...
ps I don’t know if their portion size is smaller than other beverage stores, or if adjusting the ice level will affect the portion size, when I ordered to remove the ice, it seemed to be only about 80-90% full (I usually use the same eco-friendly cup when I go to other beverage stores to buy a large cup. is full)
Overall, Da Ming’s pearl milk tea is not to my taste, but the roasted sugar buckwheat jelly milk tea is okay. I want to try the buckwheat milk tea next time
