I am Yang and I enjoy taking food photos casually~
"A bakery hidden in a narrow alley in Beitun, Taichung"
⚠️ When I went, it was still in soft opening; it has officially opened now!

🔺 Environment
The store is really in a very narrow alley. If I hadn't been bored and scrolled through Google Maps, I probably wouldn't have discovered it is so close to my home.🤣
It's recommended to ride a scooter there; around two or three scooters can fit in front.
(When I went, it was still in soft opening, and there weren’t any seats inside.)
The owner mentioned that they will sell coffee in the future, and the first floor is like a café concept.
As soon as you walk in, you can see the glass case filled with bread—so satisfying!😍

🔺 Food
(I bought these during the soft opening event; the sizes seem smaller than those at the official opening.)

  • I've re-baked all the breads below.
    ❣️ Blueberry Cheese
The sweet blueberry jam pairs perfectly with the rich cheese—it's such a delightful combination.
After reheating, the bread is crispy on the outside with a chewy texture inside; it has great layers and is really delicious.
    ❣️ Mexican Chili Cheese Bagel
The chili is mildly spicy and pairs perfectly with the cheese! But this one felt a bit empty.
It seems like there weren't too many ingredients.
    🙂 Mustard Smoked Chicken
    This one is average.
    🙂 Croissant
As a croissant lover, I find theirs isn’t very crispy; the inside is slightly fluffy, resembling a bread-type croissant.
I prefer the crispy kind, so this isn't really my style.
    ❣️ Bountiful Trio
What’s special is that there’s a round piece of bread on top that is much crispier than the one below, providing a different texture.
The filling has corn, and it tastes very much like rich corn chowder.😍

🤗 Summary
It’s really too hidden; I hope the store can sustain itself.
The bread is quite delicious, and you can feel the owner's dedication.
If you order European-style bread, the owner will kindly slice it for you—so thoughtful!
In addition to bread, they also sell cinnamon rolls, canelé, and more. I highly recommend everyone give it a try!

Because I didn't take a photo of the bread I bought to eat at home, I'm specifically highlighting a few types that I purchased. The second one on the right is blueberry cheese.
Left Two Mustard Smoked Chicken Left Three Harvest Three Treasures
Left three Mexican chili cheese bagels
The super cute alkali noodles are real bread, but they have shrunk and become smaller after being stored for a long time. The shop uses them as decorations.
The translation of "可頌" to English is "croissant."

Hovering beyond restaurants deserving of Foodies’ recognition, let’s taste some of Kadorar (嘉多娜)’s nationally renowned signature breads that are worth the dough. A bite into these warm, chewy, crusty, substantial and fragrant edamame blueberries cheese tea breads instantly opens the floodgates to our childhood memories of sweet dreams. We definitely could make a meal out of these satisfactorily moist petite delicacies. It’s one of our best “Shut-up-and-take-my-money!” dining eXperience if you support bakery people who make astonishingly amazing breads, show love for democratic freedom towards liberal living as well as peaceful lifestyles. #香港人加油

Willa Jean
BakeryNew Orleans
Can't disagree with their self description: Adding a modern touch to traditional southern cuisine, Willa Jean elevates classic dishes with creative flair and innovative twists while staying true to the roots of the region's culinary heritage. Willa Jean is a cherished bakery in new orleans's heart, known for its comforting southern fare. The place is modern and bright with its glass walls covering half of the room. The biscuits are fantastic and a must have when being in NOLA. We had the fried chicken and tabasco honey biscuit and the bacon and egg and pimento cheese biscuit. Too bad we couldn't try more from the menu. The service was very good, friendly and attentive.

Aunty Ann @ NU Empire
BakerySubang Jaya
A typical Aunty Anne chain that is famous for its pretzels. Plenty of different kinds to choose from. They also sell other pastry sticks, sausage and cheese nuggets if pretzels arent your thing. There is also lemonade for drinks and dips awailable for extra charge. There are seasonal promotional items to try. Food is packed with easy to eat packaging; making it a good snack to eat while walking around. Pretzel tasted nice with soft texture and well seasoned. Lemonade (not in pic) is also quite decent, with a nice sour refreshing taste. Service was quick as expected and staff were friendly.
