❤️ A hidden little Vietnamese eatery tucked away in the alleys of Zhonghe. Watching the owner working hard to prepare the food makes me feel somewhat bittersweet (tears).

🚗 This place is near the Zhonghe Global Mall, and parking on the street is very difficult. If you come often, it’s recommended to get a Global co-branded card, which allows you to offset three hours of parking without having to make a purchase—very cost-effective. Motorcycles can also be parked right in front of the shop.

💬 The seating area is somewhat limited, with a small capacity. However, besides seating, you can see the shop also sells some local Vietnamese spices and foods. But during the hot summer days, the lack of air conditioning in the indoor seating makes you sweat while you eat.

🍛 Beef Stir-Fried Rice Noodles $90 It's slightly different from the stir-fried rice noodles I know; it's a bit on the wetter side and not spicy enough. However, the combination of rice noodles with beef and vegetables has a nice texture, and the flavor is neither too salty nor too bland, cooked just right.

🥩 Steamed Vegetables $35 I remember the owner let us choose between sweet potato leaves or cabbage. Since cabbage has been quite expensive lately, we chose cabbage (being a bit thrifty). The cabbage with fried shallots tasted pretty good; it had a slightly crunchy texture, and combined with the natural sweetness of the cabbage, it was delicious overall.
