This restaurant is located in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, about a 6-minute walk from Akasaka Station. The most signature dish here is the omelette rice. I came here just for the omelet that will flow down on both sides after being cut~
In fact, there are other options besides omelette rice. The menu during the lunch period (11:00-14:00) also includes braised beef tendon curry and roasted curry.
This restaurant is not big, with only 5 four-person tables and 2 bar seats, with a total of 22 seats. It has a warm feeling like a family restaurant, and the seats are not too close together. The entire dining environment feels comfortable and slow-paced.
We arrived at 11:30 on a Tuesday morning, and the store was only half full, so we went straight to our seats, only to find that there was already a long queue outside at 12 noon.
We ordered an omelette rice dish for ¥1280 and a grilled curry dish for ¥1380.
At noon, a set menu is provided, including main meal, salad, 4 side dishes, soup, and drinks.
You can feel their care and attention from the various meals prepared by the store. In addition to the main meal, other foods are also delicious!
I particularly like one of the side dishes - the macaroni salad, which is macaroni mixed with mayonnaise. It is very satisfying to eat with a heavy-flavored main meal. The soup is a bowl of clear soup, simple but the two of us said it tastes delicious!
Omelet rice
There is a special reminder on the menu to cut the omelette quickly, otherwise it will become hard and difficult to cut~ Seeing the omelette flowing down after being cut is really healing! Wrapped under the egg is tomato sauce rice, and it is paired with a sauce that is a bit like hamburger steak. Although it is a bit heavy on the taste, it is very appetizing. This level of deliciousness can score 80 points.
Burnt Curry
In fact, it is just adding cheese and eggs to the curry rice and baking it. The eggs are still half-cooked when it is served, which is great! (The roasted curry I had in Mojiko two days ago, the eggs were already cooked when they were delivered, which is a pity)
But this was ordered by a friend, and I only had a bite. It was quite delicious, but it was more ordinary than the omelette rice. I recommend ordering the signature omelette rice here!
Overall, the store provides a very complete set meal. The portions are very large and I feel very full after eating. The price is only NT$300 when converted into Taiwan dollars. It is really a great value! In addition, the food is really delicious, so I recommend you to visit if you are nearby!
p.s. This restaurant only accepts cash for payment~
