Overall Review: 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
Dickson's Fooday mouthpiece review is here!

This time, I visited a café located in the mountains of Sanxia.
The café primarily focuses on the scenic views it offers, selling only the nearby mountain scenery.
The café's interior decoration and appearance are quite nice, making it a great place for photos and check-ins.
As for the food and drinks, there’s really not much to say. 🤣🤣

It has no particular features, and it seems to operate mainly as a place with a minimum spend. 🤣🤣🤣

In terms of food, they sell some basic meals and desserts, but don't expect much in terms of flavors.
It's more like a threshold for minimum spending.

Additionally, the drink menu includes a variety of sparkling beverages and coffee.
If you don't want coffee, you can only choose juice or sparkling drinks.

On that day, I personally ordered a sparkling drink, which was essentially just carbonated water. 🤣🤣

Different flavors might offer slightly different tastes, but if it weren’t for the discount from the entrance ticket,
I think the prices would be very difficult to accept.

So, it seems they rely on entrance ticket discounts to stimulate consumption here.
After all, if a café in the mountains has bad food and drinks,
people would just take a few photos and leave. 🥺🥺

In terms of the scenery, the café consists of two buildings.
The first building, which you encounter when passing the main road, is the basic café.

Inside, there are many seats and a counter for placing orders.
A short path leads to the second building, which has a more Japanese style.
However, the air conditioning inside is somewhat weak, so it can be a bit hot in summer.

Most people generally stick to the first building, although it is not too small inside.
But on weekends, due to the large number of tourists, finding a seat can be tough; you might have to sit outside.

The scenery around is primarily mountains, where you can take a hike around and come back.

Basically, this café serves as a basic resting spot, offering some simple meals and drinks
and has a decently aesthetic overall design that allows nearby tourists to take photos.

I think you don’t need to make a special trip here,
as it’s in a pretty remote mountain area, and the natural scenery isn't particularly distinctive.
However, if you're passing by, like near a cherry blossom grove, it could be nice to stop by.

⭐️ Food section
Basically, they sell some very simple meals or small cakes,
without any particular standout features, and the prices aren't cheap,
all aimed at a tourist level.

⭐️ Drinks section
On that day, I ordered a fruit-flavored sparkling drink.
I expected a rich fruit flavor, but unfortunately, it was just sparkling water with lots of ice.
So, I was quite dissatisfied with this, as the price wasn't low either.
Without the entrance ticket discount of $100, this drink could cost around $200— just not good enough for that price!

⭐️ Service section
There really isn’t anything special about the service here.
Most of the staff were busy making food or drinks.
People in the outside seating area are expected to dispose of their own trash;
staff mainly handle orders and prepare food in the back.
Even food pick-up is done through an electronic number system, where you go to the counter to collect your order.

So, there’s nothing particularly special in terms of service.

⭐️ Atmosphere section
As mentioned earlier, the interior design is quite nice, giving it a modern café vibe.
There are a fair number of seats inside, about seven or eight small tables,
with a long bench seat in the middle, along with small tables for everyone to use.

However, due to the incredible amount of tourist traffic on weekends,
you’ll often see people arriving but not finding seats.
At this time, people start to occupy the outdoor area, which has a nice environment too,
as you can see lots of greenery from the mountains.
It gives a feeling of drinking coffee in the mountains.

But since it’s currently summer and very hot,
I doubt many people can stay outside for long. 🥺🥺🥺

The other building features a Japanese style and is quite photo-friendly.
I’d say this café is aimed at those wanting Instagram-ready spots,
with a design and vibe that's perfect for capturing moments.

For friends wanting to hike in the nearby mountains,
this café can serve as a temporary resting area
before continuing with a hike. The nearby mountain isn’t too big either;
it takes approximately half an hour to 45 minutes to circle back to the café.

Overall, this place is about climbing small hills, drinking coffee, and enjoying the scenery.
The environment is decent, perfect for urban residents looking to absorb some phytoncides!

⭐️ Price section
I can only say that this café is primarily aimed at tourists.
Each item on the menu is quite pricey, but considering it targets tourists seeking photos
and a certain vibe, the prices are about what you’d expect in a tourist area.

However, the quality of what you get for the price is hard to accept.
From a foodie perspective, it’s lacking,
but from a business or tourism perspective, the prices aren’t unreasonable.

⭐️ Location section
This café is quite remote; once you reach the ticket entrance,
you'll need to walk about 20 minutes on a mountain path to reach it.
So, be mentally prepared for a bit of a hike.

Upon reaching about half the mountain's height, you’ll find the café,
where you can take photos, sip coffee or drinks, and relax.
Thus, the location is specifically set up as a tourist café in the mountains.

It’s likely that only those who need will come here—
very purpose-driven!

⭐️ In conclusion
This café has a very specific purpose.
You wouldn’t just walk by; you would only come here to hike
or specifically to visit this café to enjoy the views and take photos.

As such, its pricing is set accordingly.
If you’re interested in this café or the mountain scenery and atmosphere,
I’d certainly recommend coming here.
However, I think you shouldn’t have too high expectations
as, overall, this café is just an urban escape in the mountains—
there's nothing particularly distinctive about it.

After all, the natural environment here is just average,
but the café’s decoration design is good.
If you’re just looking for a café,
the overall design and decor have a decent quality.

But in terms of food and drinks, it’s completely below standard,
so it depends on whether you specifically want to come here for a one-time photo opportunity!

Take a photo of your food with the Fooca camera, and write a genuine dining review to earn extra income. Every meal comes with a reward!
