☕️ A Starbucks that harmonizes with local life in the park!
The first Starbucks in Yamaguchi City is located in the central park, a place frequently visited by locals. It features a spacious lawn outside and a comfortable environment, along with a drive-thru lane.
As one of only 28 special "landmark store locations" in Japan, the bar counter is crafted from locally sourced wood from Yamaguchi Prefecture, and the overall architecture blends beautifully with the surrounding environment. You can also see the outdoor park while sitting inside, making for a very pleasant dining atmosphere.
This time, I ordered the Japanese Christmas Gingerbread Latte, but unfortunately, the gingerbread cookies were no longer available for purchase. However, the drink itself tastes just like drinking gingerbread, and even someone like me who isn't a fan of ginger found it palatable.
Not far from here is Yunotan Onsen, so you can also stop by while visiting for a soak!
