This small hot pot restaurant is not located in the bustling area. I just happened to come across it on the map and felt that the environment looked good. Parking on the roadside nearby is also easy, so I decided to choose it.
The basic hot pot costs 180, which is a bit pricey for a small hot pot. However, the dining environment is quite comfortable; the store has a spacious area and also provides high chairs for children, making it quite suitable for bringing little kids.
We ordered a bonito and pork hot pot and added pork slices and meatballs. The quality of the meat slices was acceptable; they were tender and didn’t have a fishy smell. The soup base was average, not too salty. Most of the cabbage was just the stalks, which was a bit disappointing, as neither my child nor I like the stalks. The self-service area has white rice and ice cream, and the drinks include cold beverages and hot coffee. They also offer bean sprouts, which is quite special. The ingredients in the hot pot seemed of decent quality; they didn’t taste floury and didn’t have that refrigerator smell.
Overall, the taste was okay, and there were no major misses. The prices are slightly higher, but relatively speaking, the dining environment is pretty nice, making it quite suitable for dining with children.
