The basement food street of a building near Tokyo Station has a lot of shops, and during lunchtime, there's often a queue. The environment is clean and bright, and the food is served quickly. Essentially, there are three options: braised beef rice, curry beef rice, and curry beef noodles.
I had a memorable experience eating it in Osaka over a decade ago. Typically, there was only a small piece of beef, which was sweet at first but had a strong spicy kick afterward. After taking a bite, you’d need to drink some water. I was also impressed by the attendants who continuously refilled my iced water. The pickled items were also very tasty, and overall, it was just as delicious as I remembered. I really liked it.
