Previously, I had a business lunch at the Chao Fu location and had a great impression of this restaurant. This time, I went for dinner with friends and saw that there was a nearby branch. Since we all wanted to eat curry, we chose to go to the Chongde location.

There were three of us in total. Considering that the portion of a set meal is quite generous, and there was no option for a three-person set, along with our desire to order some individual items, we decided to order a double set meal and then add a few other dishes to share.

Although they immediately provided some snacks to curb our hunger after ordering, the actual time for the meals to arrive was still fast, and soon the entire table for four was filled with dishes.

Only the grilled chicken pieces came out last. The staff mentioned that they were freshly grilled, which is why they took a bit longer. However, it didn't feel like we waited too long, because we could enjoy the curry first.👌

➡️ Middle-aged and older servers!
This is something I truly believe is worth supporting and encouraging!
Most of the staff at this restaurant seem to be a combination of locals and foreigners. This particular location has employed a friendly middle-aged server (someone you might soon want to call grandma).
She was efficient and handled the plates with care, moving one by one carefully (of course, some younger staff helped too).
Her warm and cheerful conversations, along with her dedicated service, made me very happy to see a restaurant willing to provide such opportunities. As a diner, I’m also pleased to have such a server; I genuinely feel it’s worth encouraging.👍

Car🚗: There’s a park across the street with a parking lot, and there are also curbside parking spots, all of which require fees, making it quite convenient. 👍
Scooter🛵: Generally, sidewalks in the area are off-limits for parking, but you can find some scooter spaces on less major roads, and if you’re lucky, you might find a spot. 👍

Chickpea curry (a la carte) $290 Not spicy, a bit like red sauce curry, no meat, so it's a vegetarian curry, and there are plenty of chickpeas! The bread is finished, but there's still sauce left, so I keep having bite after bite.

White Sauce Seafood Curry (Two-Person Set) A la carte price: $360 It contains two types of seafood, one is shrimp 🦐, and the other is uncertain whether it’s squid or some kind of cuttlefish. However, there is still plenty of seafood, and nearly every bite of the baked bread can be paired with a piece of seafood!

Grilled Chicken Combo (For Two) Single Order Price: $340 This was the most surprising meal! The surprising part is how substantial it was 😂 The grilled chicken takes some time to prepare, so it was the last dish to be served, and there was already some space taken up by the curry and naan. Don’t be fooled by the photo; the chicken pieces may look small, but they're about the size of half a palm and as thick as a small fist—very substantial! Rather than just eating grilled meat, it's almost like gnawing on meat due to its density! For a combo meant for two, there were 6 pieces of chicken, which means each person should have 3 pieces. We were dining with exactly 3 people, so we shared: each person had 1 piece of each flavor, but we all felt: 2 pieces were really enough! Paired with the curry and naan, we were super full!

Original Flavor Toast (Double Set) Single Order Price: $70 Regular toast with curry is already very flavorful! 👍

Garlic Bread (Single Order) $95 Garlic bread, if you take a close look at the top, it has a lot of garlic! The garlic flavor is strong, and pairing it with coffee adds a different taste and level of enjoyment!

I suddenly thought of taking a quick photo while eating. 🤣 The shrimp in the seafood curry is very big. 👍

Indian-style white rice (for two) A la carte price: $60 Long-grain rice, perfect to accompany curry rice for those who enjoy it.

Masala Crispy Thin Rolls (Set for Two) (Only 2 pieces) A la carte price $130 (will have 4 pieces) I had tried the thin rolls without any fillings before, and they were extremely salty! But this time with the addition of vegetables, the texture was a bit crisper and juicier, and the salty taste wasn't as pronounced.

Indian Mango Yogurt (Single Order) $130 It’s quite thick, without mango chunks, somewhat like mango sauce. The flavor is sweet and sour; personally, I’m not a huge fan, but I think it's at a price point where you can order a cup to try if you're curious or like mango!

Indian Masala Chai (Duo Set) Single Price $110 The spiced Indian chai is something to look forward to! The spice flavor is not overwhelming, but sipping and savoring it can be a truly enjoyable experience.

Indian Style Pumpkin Soup (Two-person Set) Single Price: $95 It’s a bit different from the pumpkin soup found in Western restaurants; the color and thickness are somewhat similar to tomato soup, and it has a slightly sweet and sour taste.
