I have never been there many times. Thanks to fooday, I have recently started to try some different stores. Sometimes I find treasures by accident.
I think Qiucao is just such a store.
Qiucao is a store that sells healthy meals, which is somewhat similar to a modified version of Hawaiian raw fish rice. The ordering process is as follows: first choose rice, noodles or pure salad, then choose a main course of meat, and finally choose five kinds (pure There are six kinds of salads) delicious side dishes (basically boiled vegetables, with a little protein option), and finally a dressing.
There are really many choices for salads. This time I chose lettuce, okra, corn shoots, bean sprouts and alfalfa sprouts. I chose pork ribs for the main course. I filled a big bowl with salsa and it was an opportunity to eat vegetables. It’s great news for a few people. It can easily replenish the fiber needed for the day. Most of the dishes are simply boiled or kept raw. You can enjoy the original flavor of the ingredients. The slightly spicy salsa seasoning is also very suitable. Eat it with vegetables or noodles, and the pork ribs are considered a healthy meal. Although they are not overly seasoned, the smell of pork is already strong when you take a bite. It is even more delicious after smearing a little salsa. It’s amazing. If you don’t know what to order, just order the pork ribs~!
I plan to return in the next few days and try other main dishes next time. If you are tired of eating bentos at Taipei Station, you might as well try Qiucao!
