Because I often pass by this ramen shop but never had the motivation to try it, on this day I was finally called by the spirit of ramen and decided to walk in and give it a try.
As soon as I entered the shop, I found a seat and opened the menu to see what I wanted to eat. I finally decided on the "Manly Original Tsuta Ramen." After all, it has "manly" in the name and also "original," which sounded good, so I thought I would give it a shot.
After placing my order online, I needed to go to the counter to pay before they would bring out the food. Once I paid, I helped myself to drinks, which included winter melon tea and water. The winter melon tea was quite sweet.
After waiting for a while, my food finally arrived at the table. The moment I took the first bite, I felt something was off—the noodles were overcooked and lacked any chewiness; I could even say instant noodles might have been better.
The broth was also quite ordinary; I couldn't taste any rich pork bone flavor, but the pork chashu and chicken chashu were decent enough.
