📍 Located near the Xinpu MRT station, it takes about a five-minute walk to reach.

🗣️ Personally, I feel the wagyu beef is just average, so there's no need to specifically order the wagyu set; choosing the basic pork and chicken set offers better value for money. People who want to eat meat can give it a try, but there's no seafood option, except for the 20 clams you get for filling out a survey 😅

🍽️ Environment
Wagyu Shabu is located on the second floor, with no elevator. Although there are a good number of tables inside, the distance between tables is relatively close.

🥩 Meal
Wagyu Shabu offers several price options to choose from. If you don’t eat beef, you can opt for the pork and chicken set. Moreover, some branches offer higher-priced Japanese wagyu, but not the Banqiao branch.
This time, we ordered the top-grade wagyu set priced at 858. You can place your order directly with the staff, and the service is quite prompt.
For soup bases, you can choose the dual-flavor pot. There is an additional charge of 29 yuan for soups other than scallop and kelp. They also recently introduced a sukiyaki series.
▪️ Wagyu and Meat Series
Personally, I feel the quality of the wagyu is average, typical of what you'd expect from Australian wagyu, so there’s no need for high expectations. However, the marbling seemed to get worse over time, losing the feel of wagyu.
You can also order wagyu sushi, which tastes alright but isn't particularly impressive.
The pork and chicken met expectations, and I personally think ordering the cheapest pork and chicken is sufficient.

▪️ Vegetable Series
Basic vegetables are provided, and they’re quite fresh, but the variety isn’t extensive.

▪️ Dessert and Drinks Series
Beverages include original extract, plum juice, coffee milk tea, two types of smoothies, and an ice cream machine. Alcoholic drinks need to be ordered separately.
There are also brown sugar pearls and Japanese-style jellies. Personally, I mix some brown sugar pearls at the bottom of the taiyaki and then squeeze in ice cream for added texture variety 🤣

The taiyaki is only available with certain price sets and needs to be ordered fresh with the staff.

Australian Wagyu, not very marbled, tastes okay.
The marbling of the premium Wagyu beef is not very beautiful either.
Premium Wagyu brisket with more fat, but not the best-looking Wagyu.
Wagyu curry rice tastes pretty good.
Vegetable self-service bar, the basic options are all available.
Freshly made taiyaki can be eaten with ice cream.

Wagyu nigiri is okay but not particularly impressive.
