The first time I tried Okinawan donuts, the texture was very similar to that of fried cake, dense and quite filling. There seem to be a total of four different flavors. I chose brown sugar and lemon; I personally prefer the lemon one. The lemon donut has a layer of frosting on the outside, giving it a crispy texture when you eat it. The brown sugar donut has brown sugar powder and brown sugar sauce, which makes it chewy.
