I heard that the KFC in Malaysia is more delicious than the one in Taiwan. I happened to see it when I was shopping in a department store and decided to try it. The number of KFC in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is obviously more than that of McDonald's. Maybe it has something to do with religion. Most KFCs serve chicken.
🍽️Environment
In the food court of a department store, the environment is not too problematic, and the seats are well spaced and air-conditioned and comfortable.
There is also a self-service ordering machine here, but after eating, many people put their food on the table and wait for the clerk to collect it. This is different.
🍗Meals
This time I ordered the classic Kombo dinner plate with a special price of $23.99 MYR, but it was directly rounded to $24 MYR at checkout. The contents include three pieces of fried chicken, a cup of Coke, a portion of French fries, a mashed potato and a meal bag.
The French fries are as expected as in Taiwan, and the cola and mashed potatoes work normally.
Let’s talk about the fried chicken part. Since I didn’t specify the parts specifically with him, I only ordered one piece of spicy and two pieces of original, so I got a stick leg and two pieces of chicken breast🙄
The spicy skin looks similar to Taiwan's. Although it is chicken breast, it tastes tender and juicy. I've given it a try.
The original part uses thin skin. Although the taste is good, it is relatively dry, even the stick legs.
😀In summary, in terms of comprehensive evaluation, I think it is on par with KFC in Taiwan, but here there is also a set meal that includes rice, so the overall variety is more interesting.
