I passed by Anping on business at noon. I looked for a coffee shop in the afternoon and then came to Shikenmo to rest. The store is not located in an old neighborhood, but close to the Yizaijincheng area. There are relatively few tourists, and it is relatively quiet if you want to work.
We arrived at about 3 o'clock, and there was only one room for two people left. There are two four-person sofa seats and two two-person sofa seats in the store, and the internal area is not large. The store has a large section dedicated to coffee beans (the store can help roast the beans and customize them, so if you are interested, you can check out their website).
The store does not carry Japanese sketches, but is more American-style. The volume of the music inside is moderate, which is white noise level for me. It is very comfortable to sit for long periods of time and is recommended for those who want to work alone.
No meals provided.
For drinks, I ordered the Ice American and the Pomelo-flavored Ice American. The beans are lightly roasted and have low acidity, but a more pronounced bitter taste. For the grapefruit flavor, we use grapefruit paste with particles and pulp, which is just right in the American-style base without being too sweet. But next time I will try something with milk (latte, kabob). The store also has a variety of hand-brewed brews. If you are like me, I will pass first.
Shikenmo's coffee has its own characteristics and there are many choices. The interior environment is also very good. It is a good store that I will pay a special visit next time I pass by this area.
