: Do you know why I'm giving you a croissant?
: Because I want to congratulate you with a “Coca-Cola Croissant” (in Taiwanese)
As someone who is on a diet, I have occasionally allowed myself to indulge recently.
Once the thought of wanting to eat carbs pops up,
I suddenly crave a croissant❗️
It just so happened that I had to run some errands near the Science and Technology Museum after work that day,
so I took the opportunity to search for nearby bakeries during a little spare time.
As a result, I accidentally stumbled upon a gem.
The next day, I immediately brought some to share with my loved one
and also shared some cheesy pickup lines 💗
Grain Art Bakery
A tiny bakery that is only open three days a week.
I was so lucky to visit on a Wednesday.
If I had come at any other time, I might have missed it.
The bakery is hidden in the alley of a residential area🏢.
The road isn’t very wide; if you drive there🚗,
you might block the whole lane.
It’s suggested to park on the main road outside and walk over,
and if you’re riding a scooter, you can park right at the entrance🛵.
I arrived at around 18:30,
and although some items on the counter were already sold out,
there was still the popular mille-feuille egg tart,
creative guava yogurt bread,
and various flavors of toast 🍞.
But the croissant I had been longing for was still available✌🏻.
The bakery carefully selects special Japanese and French flour,
Japanese top-grade sugar, traceable certified eggs🥚,
milk from a single source at Hualien Jizheng Ranch🥛,
natural fermented butter, local ingredients,
and products made from seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables,
making it truly deserving of being called high-quality.
