This is a café with a focus on desserts >>>>> coffee ☕️
The introduction and descriptions about the desserts greatly outnumber those for savory dishes, drinks, and snacks. If you're here to enjoy desserts and have afternoon tea, you can say you've come to the right place!
On that day, it was drizzling continuously, and the ground was wet and slippery 🌧️. The humid atmosphere made me feel pretty down 😞, but luckily, I got to try some decent desserts, which lifted my spirits.
Yes, "decent" is how I would describe it. In the highly competitive dessert market of Taichung, I would rate their desserts as "affordable + slightly above average" in flavor.
They weren't spectacular enough to amaze you, but at a reasonable price, I would consider coming back next time—roughly like that 👌
The café is near Taichung train station, which makes parking difficult, but it's just a short walk from the station. The seating is somewhat a matter of luck; there aren't many spots, with tables for 2-4 people. That day, there were quite a few customers dining, and we were lucky to get the last available table.
🌟 Dining time limit is 2 hours
🌟 Minimum spending of $150/person on weekends (most dishes exceed this price)
For a gathering with friends or chatting over afternoon tea, I think 2 hours is more than sufficient 👌. After finishing lunch, we can have some desserts and drinks, and by the end of 2 hours, we can continue on to dinner. It was a simple yet perfect day 😌.
