🔖 Today we're enjoying: Yongxin Feng Tea

Today, I went to Yongxin Feng Tea on Tongmeng Road with my family. This place is part of the same brand as "Laoxin Taiwanese Cuisine" and "Xinchao Hotel."
There’s a large grassy area outside where children are running and playing, creating a lively atmosphere. The interior has a retro tea house vibe, with comfortable seating and a relaxed space.

Here are the dishes we ordered today:
⭐️ Pork Rib and Fresh Bamboo Shoot Rice｜💰400
The pork ribs have a firm texture and are not dry. The rice absorbs the aroma of the fresh bamboo shoots and braising sauce, and mixing in zucchini and bamboo shoots adds layers of flavor, making it very tasty overall.
The sides included golden kimchi, plum sauce tomatoes, and grapefruit-flavored radish, all refreshing and appetizing combinations. I'm not sure if these change regularly.

⭐️ Taiwanese Chili Pepper Chicken Rice｜💰320
The freshly fried chili pepper chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, juicy and not dry. Drizzled with a special sauce, it pairs perfectly with rice, and one bowl isn’t enough!

⭐️ Flowing Sand Taro Balls｜💰180
Served hot, when you bite into them, the filling oozes out—be careful, it’s really hot! But the flavor is rich and fragrant, making it the highlight of today’s dessert!

⭐️ Salt and Pepper Sweet Corn｜💰180
The corn itself is very sweet, but the salt and pepper flavor stands out separately; they didn’t merge to create the expected sweet and salty spark, which is a bit unfortunate.

⭐️ Hualien Honey-Scented Black Tea｜💰180
The tea from Yongxin Feng Tea consistently delivers. It's rich and smooth in flavor, served in a tall glass that instantly feels elegant (laughs).

This restaurant is great for lunch, afternoon tea, or even for a late-night bistro moment. The overall standards of the dishes are stable, with no disappointing items. It's definitely worth revisiting, and I recommend it to everyone!
