Jumbo Steak Han’s
I went to the American Village in Okinawa and found that there were especially many restaurants, particularly for steak, which made me want to try it.
Unlike the steaks in Taiwan, the walls of the entire restaurant seemed to be decorated like ancient Egyptian tomb murals. There were booths for six people and tables for four, creating an exotic atmosphere.
As for the menu, there were cuts like hind leg steak, flank steak, a 500-gram steak, ribeye steak, pork belly steak, and a variety of combinations, and there was even lobster!
However, it’s worth mentioning that if you want to order a salad, drinks, or ice cream, you have to pay extra for those!
I ordered a combination of beef tongue patty and chicken thigh steak. The meat for the steak felt quite small, possibly because of the American-style serving.
When I tried to cut the beef tongue patty, it was a bit difficult since the meat was too tender. After finally cutting a big piece, I couldn't really chew through it and had to awkwardly swallow it. On the other hand, I quite liked the chicken thigh steak, so it was somewhat acceptable.
