Review by a user: There's a sink in the restroom.
Nanyang cuisine is hidden in the alleys of Wanli District. During this visit on a holiday, there were many people, but the wait time wasn’t too long, and we were seated quickly. The restaurant requires that orders be made all at once; no additional items can be added, and they only accept cash. We ordered a total of nine dishes, including curry seafood rice noodles (170), pork fried rice (110), pork fried instant noodles (120), stir-fried cabbage (120), spicy three-layer pork (240), stir-fried squid with vegetables (340), spring rolls (100), spicy papaya salad (100), and shredded cabbage salad (100), totaling 1,400 dollars.
The curry seafood rice noodles were quite outstanding, with a rich broth and a hint of coconut milk aroma. The seafood paired with it was quite fresh, and the texture was nice. The fried instant noodles were cooked just right, with the perfect moisture level; the noodles were chewy but not mushy. The spring rolls were enjoyed with sauce, tasting good and having a refreshing texture. The spicy papaya salad and the shredded cabbage salad were appetizing, with a balanced sweet and sour flavor.
Most of the dishes were satisfactory; the only downside was the spicy three-layer pork, which had too much fatty meat—some pieces were almost entirely fat, making it quite heavy. Overall, the restaurant’s flavor profile is impressive, especially the curry seafood rice noodles, which are highly recommended for those who enjoy Nanyang-style cuisine.
