Hokkaido is a major producer of milk, and there are a wide variety of dairy product brands here. This store sells a super wide range of milk, including yogurt, ice cream, and pudding, creating a very fresh and clear atmosphere overall.
There are so many options that I didn’t know how to choose. Luckily, they have a top three milk competition, which offers three small cups of different types to satisfy your taste at once and allow for comparison. Personally, I found that the second place, Meiying, is the richest and my favorite, while first place, Uno Farm, is slightly less rich. The third place, Okopuko Town, is comparatively milder. It was very serious and interesting to compare them for the first time.
The pudding, dubbed the king of four crowns, really embodies the words "rich, pure, fragrant." It’s impressive! I’d love to try more of their products if I had the chance, but since I'm alone and can’t take leftovers, I can only look forward to next time.
I’m too low on energy to post, so I’m recording this here: the Wakasaimo ice cream across the street is the top pick for unique flavors, and the sweet potato and red bean ice cream is truly amazing. At first, I didn’t pay attention and thought the sweet potato flavor was really good. Later, I was surprised to discover the black bits turned out to be red bean, which made it even more delicious. This first place flavor deserves not just to be called unique but could even be the overall best.
Kamakae is very tasty, but the Meiying corn bread took over an hour to get and was quite average.
