Futaba is a local restaurant with the best reviews among the restaurants near the Sculpture Art Museum, and is affordable and exciting. But I failed once at noon and asked about the opening hours in the afternoon. It was still full when I arrived. Fortunately, I was willing to accept customers. It was drizzling in the mist as we waited for our arrival, and it was well worth the wait.是一家步調稍緩慢的小本經營店家，不受客人影響，想接待幾組客人全憑老夫婦的步調決定，覺得這樣的服務業雖然對於客人有些不便，但卻感受得到有設立界線反倒令我們更加期待服務quality. The meals are all cooked to order, so I had to wait about 30 minutes to enter the store, but you can feel the care in every dish. The noisy environment is not unbearable. It seems to be a very good choice in a wonderland like Hakone. After the meal, I am already looking forward to coming back tomorrow for a different meal (if tomorrow’s schedule allows), and the parent-child rice bowl seems to be good too. choose.

There is only a couple of grandparents operating this shop, so they can only accommodate a small number of customers. When it is full, they will usually wait for about 30 minutes. Sometimes they will tell you that they are not sure whether they can pick up customers, and sometimes they will turn to close after the customers have finished their meal. The signboard informs guests that whether they can get the food or not depends on fate (the B&B happens to be nearby, otherwise there is a high chance of missing out). There is an attached parking lot available for use.

The store is small, but every set meal looks delicious

Grilled eggplant, with the skin removed, is very tender and juicy. It doesn’t need too much seasoning. The original flavor of the eggplant blooms in your mouth, very delicious😋

Pan-fried tofu (fried tofu) soaked in light soy sauce, fried in a thin layer of flour to form a sweet coating, the very tender and sweet egg tofu is really delicious, every side dish is almost flawless

The four of us ordered the fried horse mackerel set meal, fried squid set meal, fried pork cutlet set meal and fried pork cutlet rice, which came with salt kelp and cucumber pickles, and a bowl of miso soup. The average set meal cost about NT$200 per serving. , the price of daily food is similar to that in Taiwan
