Before the Spring Festival, I chose to visit the Baoan Temple to pay my respects. After finishing my prayers, I took a stroll around the area and felt a bit thirsty. I opened Google Maps and found a nice drink shop called Hong Cha Wu, so I decided to give it a try.
This shop has been around for over 40 years, and for a drink shop to last that long, it must have something special about it.
First of all, at this shop, you need to take a number before ordering. However, it was morning and there weren't many people, so I was able to place my order quickly, get my drink, and then settle the bill.
Moreover, seeing that this shop has been a staple for 40 years, I quickly understood why when I looked at the menu; many drinks are priced at only 15 or 20 yuan, which is incredibly cheap.
This time, I ordered taro milk. There are small, medium, and large sizes to choose from, and I opted for the large cup, which was gigantic! It really makes for a very filling drink. Although it has great value, I wouldn't recommend it because the portion is just too large.
Overall, it's a pretty good drink and the prices are very, very reasonable.
