This day, I happened to be painting nearby.
When class ended, my friends and I were discussing what to eat.
When we passed by a mini hotpot restaurant in Mong Kok,
we surprisingly found that there was no line at the entrance!?
(I had lived in San Chong for about six or seven years,
and there were always quite a few people waiting during meal times.)
We thought we would ask if there was a chance to dine in!
To our surprise, there was a table available! (So lucky!)
When ordering, you can first choose your main pot, which comes with a vegetable platter.
Today, the three of us chose the beef pot.
We also ordered clams, fish dumplings, and cod balls separately.
For the beef (one of the types), the staff said they would stir-fry it first before cooking for better flavor. 😋
After placing our order, the staff immediately started serving the dishes.
We went to the sauce area to mix our favorite sauces.
As for drinks, we could help ourselves to milk tea or green tea.
The broth was cooked with a lot of vegetables,
and you could really taste the sweetness of the vegetables.
Make sure not to cook the meat for too long to enjoy tender beef.
The vegetable platter had quite a variety,
and the portions of the ordered items were also generous.
The restaurant was really busy.
Since we happened to be seated near the entrance,
there were always customers coming in asking if there was space as we ate.
It seemed we arrived just as the place became completely full.
Those who came later had to wait quite a while.
We were really lucky today! ☺️
I suggest everyone remember to reserve a table before dining.
When we settled the bill, it was only about 350 per person!
The value for money was really great.
I definitely want to come back and eat here again next time!
There’s no comment yet.
